Realizing the country’s need for more healthcare workers, several U.S. States now offer various scholarships for students who want to pursue a career in the health field. The Michigan nursing scholarships are amongst these programs specifically set up to help boost entrants into the healthcare industry.

Residents of Michigan or other individuals planning to attend nursing school in the state may be eligible for Michigan nursing scholarships. Educational assistance for nursing students is widely varied, ranging financial need-based scholarships to merit-based awards. Moreover, there are student loans and educational grants available. These college scholarships can either be state-

sponsored or funded by different nursing organizations.

State-sponsored scholarships are administered by the Michigan Student Financial Aid through the Office of Scholarships and Grants (OSG).
